MARITZA
BOUCHER

An Honours graduate in film, Maritza Boucher roots herself in the power of story-telling through editing.

Over the past 10 years she has worked in a variety of formats, starting as an assistant editor in long-form film making before progressing to broadcast as a senior editor: cutting for worldwide networks such as BBC, Discovery Channel, FOX International and NBC. During her time in broadcast she was nominated for best documentary editor at the Durban Film Festival in 2014.

Her love for experimenting with narrative structure and edit styles allowed her to change gears when freelancing for numerous agencies and large brands before finding a new home at Prodigious, where she continues to showcase her diverse experience, attention to detail and creative eye.
